HELVONA SAVIALISSE · CHRISTCHURCH
Cookie Policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains browser cookies and similar technologies in plain language, describes what the current Helvona Savialisse website actually uses, and gives visitors practical options. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small piece of information a website or service may ask a browser to store and return on later requests. Cookies can support basic delivery, remember choices, measure usage or enable advertising. Other technologies, such as local storage and pixels, may serve related functions without technically being cookies.
Cookies are not all alike: some are necessary to provide a requested feature, while others may be optional. What matters is the particular technology, its purpose, the party responsible and the applicable privacy rules.
2. Current cookie position of this website
This version is a static informational studio website. Its own HTML, CSS and JavaScript do not deliberately create first-party tracking cookies, third-party advertising cookies, analytics cookies or visitor profiles. There is no cookie-based personalised advertising or social-network tracking integration in the site code.
Because the page itself currently has no optional cookies to consent to, we do not display a misleading cookie preference banner with imaginary categories.
3. Navigation and menu state
Opening or closing the mobile navigation changes the visible menu within the current browser page. This uses temporary JavaScript state and accessibility attributes. It does not require a cookie, local storage entry or cross-page identifier.
4. Studio details and local files
When a page loads, a local same-site script reads the studio's published business details so the legal name and address can appear consistently in the footer and legal sections. This is an ordinary file request, not a visitor tracking service. The request does not create a cookie in the site's own code.
5. Contact enquiries
The Contact page takes the information you type and prepares a draft in your own email application when you choose to submit. It does not send the details to an embedded marketing or form analytics service. Browser validation and an optional clipboard action operate on the current page; they do not use a tracking cookie.
If your email application saves a draft or sends an email, that application and the services it uses are governed by their own settings and notices.
6. Hosting and essential delivery technologies
When the site is deployed, the web host may use standard connection and security mechanisms to provide page delivery, prevent abuse, balance requests or retain technical logs. Whether any host-managed cookies are set depends on the actual hosting configuration, which can differ from this static downloadable version.
If a future hosting arrangement introduces cookies requiring additional disclosure or consent, this policy and any relevant controls should be updated before that functionality is enabled.
7. Links to external websites
The site may include an optional link to Google Maps to help visitors locate the studio. The map does not load inside the page as a remote widget. If you select the external link, the destination may set its own cookies or use other browser storage; consult its policies. Merely seeing the link on our page does not require contact with that service.
8. Advertising and analytics
We do not include third-party advertising pixels, behaviour monitoring scripts or audience analytics libraries in this static site. We do not rely on a cookie banner to imply that those services are in place. Future additions would require a fresh review of what is collected, the legal basis, retention, and whether consent is necessary.
9. How to manage browser cookies
Most browsers let you inspect or delete stored site data and block some or all cookies. These controls are usually available under privacy, security or site-data settings. Blocking a host's strictly necessary cookies, if any are used when the website is deployed, could affect certain delivery or security functions.
Private browsing modes may also limit storage. Remember that browser controls govern cookies on your own device and do not necessarily delete correspondence already emailed to the studio.
10. Legal context and visitor choice
New Zealand privacy law applies to personal information handled in the context of our studio operations. For visitors subject to the GDPR or applicable ePrivacy rules, consent may be required before certain non-essential cookies or similar technologies are used. The current website does not implement such optional trackers, so there are no optional tracking settings to opt into.
If we add an optional technology, we will assess the relevant disclosure and consent requirements before using it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may amend this policy to reflect future website functionality, hosting practices or legal developments. The “Last updated” date identifies the published version. Our Privacy Policy explains how to ask about personal information.
