Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Respect for personal information is part of our studio experience. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use the Helvona Savialisse website, how we handle enquiries, and how to ask about information we hold. It is written with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 in mind and also explains rights under the GDPR where those rules apply.

1. Responsible organisation

The organisation responsible for this website and studio enquiries is Helvona Savialisse Limited , of 47B Roker Street, Somerfield, Christchurch 8024, New Zealand . Company Number: 7842391; GST Number: 136-410-132. Contact us at info@helvonasavialisse.com or +64 3 349 5827.

For a question about personal information, please describe the relevant enquiry or correspondence so that we can identify it without asking for more information than necessary.

2. Information you choose to provide

When you contact us, the information may include your name, email address, optional telephone number, subject, requested service, preferred times, style preferences and the text of your message. We may also receive correspondence you send directly by email and any follow-up information needed to organise an agreed appointment.

The website does not ask for payment-card details and is not designed to receive particularly sensitive information. Please do not include information that is unnecessary to discuss your nail design enquiry.

3. How the enquiry form works

Our current contact form operates in your browser. When you press its submission button, it prepares an email draft addressed to the studio in your own email application; the draft is not automatically delivered. Information you type remains in the browser until you choose to send it or leave the page. The website does not use a separate third-party form submission platform.

If you send the email, it reaches us through the email systems involved, and we may retain the correspondence for the purposes described below. An optional copying action uses browser clipboard capabilities only when you request it. The shorter email field on the About page takes you to the Contact form with the address filled in.

4. Technical information

Like other hosted websites, a hosting provider may handle standard technical information needed to deliver pages and protect infrastructure, such as an IP address, requested URL, device or browser characteristics, request time and error or security logs. The precise logging and retention practices depend on the provider used for the live deployment.

We do not add a behavioural analytics script, advertising pixel or remote font or image tracker to this website version. Our own browser code for navigation and reading studio contact details does not require an advertising profile.

5. Why we use information

We use enquiry details to understand your question, provide relevant service information, respond to correspondence, discuss availability and prepare a service if an appointment is subsequently agreed. We may also need limited records to address complaints, exercise legal rights, meet bookkeeping duties or protect the website from misuse.

We do not use submitted enquiry details to send unrelated marketing messages merely because you contacted the studio. If we propose a separate newsletter or other marketing programme in future, its information and choices will be explained separately.

6. Legal grounds where the GDPR applies

Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies to a particular activity, our bases may include steps requested before entering into an agreement (Article 6(1)(b)), legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)), compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)), and consent where genuinely requested and appropriate (Article 6(1)(a)).

We consider the nature of the information and your reasonable expectations in selecting an appropriate basis. You may withdraw consent where processing actually depends on consent; withdrawal does not invalidate processing that occurred beforehand or processing supported by another lawful basis.

7. Recipients and sharing

Studio enquiries are accessed only by people who need them to respond or administer the enquiry. If you send an email, the mail providers handling the message necessarily process relevant correspondence and routing data. A live web host may process technical delivery logs and provide routine security services.

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The optional Google Maps link operates only after you choose to visit it, at which point that destination's own practices apply.

8. International access and transfers

Our studio is based in New Zealand. People may visit the website or email us from other countries. Any international handling of personal information must comply with applicable safeguards and restrictions, including rules in New Zealand and, where relevant, requirements under the GDPR for international transfers.

We will take account of the actual providers and transfer routes used rather than claim that every possible service or transfer is in use.

9. Storage and retention

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a related appointment, resolve a query, maintain necessary business records or meet legal obligations. Different records may need different periods; once no longer required, we aim to delete or securely dispose of them.

We do not claim that a draft left unsent in your email application has been received or stored by the studio. Your own device or email provider may retain drafts according to its settings.

10. Security and accuracy

We take reasonable organisational and technical precautions appropriate to the information held, including limiting access and avoiding unnecessary collection. No transmission method is perfectly secure. Please keep your own devices and email accounts protected, and inform us if information you supplied needs correcting.

11. Your privacy rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 you may request access to personal information held about you and ask for correction where appropriate, subject to lawful exceptions. We will assess requests using applicable rules and may need to verify identity before disclosing personal information.

If the GDPR applies, you may also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection and protection against certain solely automated decisions. These rights depend on circumstances and legal exceptions; this site does not use automated decisions to determine whether someone may obtain a studio appointment.

You may raise a concern with the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner. Where the GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with a competent data-protection supervisory authority.

12. Cookies and local browser features

The website itself does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The menu uses temporary page state. Business contact details are read from a same-site data file. See the Cookie Policy for further detail, including possible hosting technologies and links to other sites.

13. Children and other websites

The studio's enquiry process is aimed at people able to discuss and arrange services responsibly. If a parent or guardian believes a child has sent us personal information unnecessarily, they may contact us so that we can consider suitable action. External websites are governed by their own privacy notices.

14. Policy changes and contacts

We may update this policy when our processes, hosting arrangements or legal requirements change. The date above identifies this version. If you have a privacy request or would like clarification, contact:
